Dale's Stroke Fund

Hi, this is Vinny and Eric, Dale's "little brothers". Four days ago on Thursday, March 16th, 2017, Dale had a hemorrhagic stroke while at work. We all work at the same place and we both were there within minutes, seeing Dale starting to slip away from us through garbled speech and fear in his eyes. Those that have met Dale, know that talking was always his strong suit, so hearing him struggle to find and say words was frightening to say the least. Thankfully, our employer has personal on each shift trained to be first responders and within minutes, they were evaluating him and the ambulance was on the way. They rushed him to Fairview Southdale and he was in their healing hands in less than an hour from the start of this new challenge in Dale's life. The bleeding in the brain stopped about 2 days ago, and he could slip into consciousness for a few minutes to try and communicate for those couple of days. However, early yesterday morning, he started struggling to breath and they had to insert a breathing tube and start him on heavy pain medication, so he is very sedated at this point to try and give his brain a little more time to start the healing process. We still don't know what the next few hours, days and weeks will bring, but there are going to be some significant expenses to deal with. From Dale being out of work for now to potential long-term care and recovery costs to possible modifications needed at his town home, we are asking for any help you can give Dale in this extreme time of need. There will be some need in the near term to cover standard bills (mortgage, car payment, utilities etc.) and then long-term for various medical expenses and we are working hard to determine what all of those will be. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated and if you cannot donate money, please pray for Dale or wish him healing in whatever way you can. We are trying to cast as wide a net as possible to bring in all the love and support for Dale that we can find.
