Valoree needs our help!

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals!
We are reaching out to you today about our dear friend Valoree! She desperately needs our help!

As many of you may know, in January of last year, Valoree suddenly became very ill. She began experiencing debilitating fatigue, pins and needles sensations on her legs, arms and face, her body felt as if it was "on fire" with inflammation. Her condition continued to worsen. She eventually had to go on work leave in May.

After multiple trips to urgent care and the ER, Valoree was eventually diagnosed with THREE very debilitating diseases: Lyme Disease, Ebstein-Barr and Mycotoxins.

Mycotoxins, lyme and Ebstein-Barr caused Valoree many neurological symptoms. Each of the three diseases carry a bevy of debilitating symptoms. However, she is in for the battle of reversing those symptoms. Her medical team is working on a protocol to get her better, and she needs financial support to help pay for her medications.

Valoree’s Story
Valoree’s life has been a testament to her commitment to her community. She has dedicated her time to volunteering to people and organizations that support our local shooting sports. She also volunteered her time supporting the Deaf community along with teaching children sign language at a local church. Her Protect Atascadero group that she founded is dedicated to supporting local law enforcement, businesses and the community. She has always been very active, exercised regularly. Her positive energy and loving character have touched the hearts of many, making Valoree a beloved figure in our community. Valoree's love and compassion know no bounds.

Valoree’s Health Continued to Decline
As her body continued to fail her, Valoree required 24/7 care and had round-the-clock in-home care givers. However, things continued to get worse. When Valoree found mold under her kitchen sink and reported it to the landlord, the landlord gave her a 30 day eviction notice. Because Valoree had lived in the home less than a year, the attorney she contacted said the landlord had the right to do that, unfortunately.

Now technically homeless and unable to work, Valoree had to live in a hotel for two weeks with caregivers still helping her. Could you imagine being that sick and having to live in a hotel?? She became so weak that she lost her ability to walk! She was eventually hospitalized, and then transferred to a care facility. Fearing that she would be at this facility indefinitely, by the grace of God, a compassionate friend opened their home to allow Valoree to heal and recover in peace and privacy.

Imagine:
The strength it takes to face an unexpected health battle, to confront the unknown with courage and resilience. That's exactly what Valoree is doing right now. Amidst the medical challenges she never saw coming, Valoree stands tall, a symbol of bravery in
the face of adversity!

Valoree’s Current Challenge:
Valoree now faces a long and arduous road to recovery. The extensive medical care, treatment, rehabilitation, and the associated expenses are substantial. While we continue to lift our prayers for her speedy recovery, we must also recognize the steps we can take to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

Here’s How You Can Help:

Here's where our collective strength comes in. We are not mere spectators; we are a community, a family, bound together by compassion and a shared belief that no one should face the burden of medical costs alone.

We invite you to be a part of Valoree's journey to recovery by contributing to this GoFundMe campaign. Your generous donations will assist with the mounting medical bills, necessary treatments, and rehabilitation that lie ahead.
