Hi there. My name is Markie and I am trying to raise funds for my dad, a man who has always been hardworking, kind hearted, and the type of man who wants to bring a smile to everyone's faces. The kind of person that is always willing to help and put other people's needs before his own. A man who's positivity is infectious and you cannot help but laugh when you're with him.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer. I am still having a hard time processing those words, still numb to the sting they have. Since then a lot has happened. Emergency procedures, tests, treatment plans, and the constant emotional weight of not knowing what comes next.

This being said, if you know my dad, you know he is going to fight. Unfortunately, this fighting comes at a cost. Medical bills, medications, travel for treatment and care, medical equipment, and no longer having the ability to work. The financial stress is an additional weight that I am trying to shield my dad from as he goes through this battle.

I am reaching out for help so my dad can focus on what is important right now - fighting. I want him to be able to focus on his strength, his health, and his healing. His body has already been through so much and we are only at the beginning.
