This is one letter Kelly Yates and I never thought we would have to write about our dearest friend Dee Wilkinson. It is hard to actually put everything down but here it goes.
This regards her daughter Joanna: Some of you may already heard and some of you may not know. Coach Dee who has touched so many of our lives as our friend, and/or field hockey or lacrosse coach needs our help.
Dee's eldest daughter Joanna has been diagnosed with Metasized Malignant Melanoma.
A little bit about Jo: Joanna started her love for athletics while playing field hockey and lacrosse at Lafayette High School. She continued her love for field hockey and lacrosse at Messiah College. While playing lacrosse she found her best friend and partner for life, her husband Kevin Dennstaedt. Kevin and Jo have been married for 10 years and have four beautiful children.

With this diagnosis Jo has already undergone two surgeries and is now starting a grueling treatment program. Jo must take a high dosage shot every week for what the doctors hope for a year. The side effects are so terrible that most patients who have undergone this treatment have only lasted a year.
What Kelly and I are hoping to do with your donation is help with life long medical bills (she will need to take this shot for the rest of her life, if her body can handle it.), housekeeping, childcare and any other expense that comes up.
Coach Dee has loved all of us as her own and has prayed for each one of us on and off the field. Let's show Coach Dee what she means to all of us. We understand the holidays are approaching, but anything will help and would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to share this with your friends and join us in helping this beautiful young family and Coach Dee as they face the coming grueling months.
