That being said, Mike has fallen VERY ill. What we thought was a terrible flu turned into finding him unresponsive on the couch with a fever of 104.8.

He was flown to Harborview in Seattle where he is in the ICU & intubated. He has abscesses on his spine/spinal infection. He has pneumonia in his right lung & streptococcal throughout his whole body.

We will be in Seattle for the foreseeable future. That means that our home expenses, travel, lodging & medical expenses are already beyond anything I can afford.

We are not ones to ask for help but this is a desperate time. He has a long recovery ahead & obviously won’t be able to work. I had to pick a goal amount & so I picked $5k but honestly, anything will help!
