Help Bobby's Recovery
Donation protected
For those of you who know my brother Bobby, you know he is a hilarious, smart and charismatic powerhouse. He has an incredible son named Robby who is 3 1/2 years old now and an extremely loving family. He has a passionate love of motorcycles and spends his days at work selling them and bringing that same passion and joy to others.
Unfortunately, Bobby was in an incredibly bad motorcycle accident on Friday night and really did a number on himself, but thankfully he is alive and had no trauma to his brain although he was not wearing a helmet. He did severe damage to his face, knocking out multiple teeth and suffered multiple fractures in his face, as well as splitting his lip and completely shifting his upper jaw. The inside of his mouth has been pretty torn up from his teeth being knocked out and shifting where they shouldn't be. Additionally, he dislocated his left knee and fractured it, shattered his left ankle, broke his left fibula, and fractured his right wrist. He has already had surgery to repair his leg, arm and face, but he will need another surgery on his knee, physical therapy and has a very, very long road to recovery, so he will be staying with my mom and unable to work for awhile. We will be using this money for his massive amount of medical bills and helping him get back on his feet.
For those of you who know us, you know we are an incredibly strong family and we have been through more than anyone should in a lifetime, but we have incredible supports. We are all extremely independent and dislike leaning on people, but we figure now is a time that is more important than ever to ask for support and prayers. We are incredibly grateful to have Bobby with us still and he has been in pretty good spirits, although there have understandably been hard days. He is at Aurora South hospital (Mississippi and Potomac) for anyone who would like to visit and he is out of the woods, thank God. It has been incredibly hard on all of us, but we are standing together as always and loving each other even harder.
I want to go ahead and share such appreciation for anyone who takes the time to read this, donate money or send prayers. We're not ones to ask for help, but anything and everything in this difficult time is incredibly appreciated. Hold your loved ones close and we know that we will be holding you all a bit closer as well. Much love to you all. ❤️
