Mia’s Knee Surgery

Friends, Family, and Community,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because my sweet angel Mia needs surgery. This past Thursday, while we were playing fetch at the park, Mia ran for the ball and suddenly screamed out in pain, refusing to put weight on her back left leg. I rushed her to the vet, who performed X-rays and confirmed that Mia has suffered a Cruciate ligament rupture in her knee. She urgently needs surgery to recover.

The cost of the surgery, along with the 3-6 months of post-op care and recovery, is unfortunately more than I can handle on my own - so I’m turning to my friends, family and community for some support.

It absolutely breaks my heart to see her in pain, and while we have a long road ahead, I’m determined to give her the treatment, care, and time she needs to fully heal. She deserves to be back to her playful, bouncy self.
