Hi I’m Tyler I live with epilepsy, and most people don’t see what that actually looks like behind the scenes.
The photos I’ve shared are from one of my recent seizures. I lost control of my body, hit my head, and woke up covered in blood with injuries to my face and hands. I had no warning—it just happened. This is the reality I deal with.
Epilepsy doesn’t just affect me during a seizure. It impacts my entire life. I can’t drive, which makes even basic things like getting groceries or seeing people difficult. I’m often stuck at home, isolated, and relying on others just to get by.
What makes it harder is how unpredictable it is. I don’t know when the next seizure will happen, and every time it does, there’s a real risk of injury like what you see in these photos—or worse.
Right now, I’m struggling financially. Between managing my condition and trying to stay safe day-to-day, I don’t have the stability I need. Simple things like food, transport, and medical-related costs are becoming overwhelming.
I’m asking for help so I can:
* Stay on top of my basic living expenses
* Afford transport since I can’t drive
* Manage the ongoing costs of living with epilepsy
* Have some stability and safety in my life
This isn’t easy to ask, but I genuinely need support.
Anything you can give means more than you probably realise. Even sharing this helps.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story
