Maui’s Recovery

Hi friends & family. We are the San Diego’s, & we are fundraising for the medical care & recovery of our handsome boy, Maui.

Maui is in need of an emergent drug infusion & a second hospital admission, as his platelet levels are non-existent. This condition is extremely dangerous and leaves him at risk for life-threatening uncontrollable bleeding. Maui was admitted into the hospital last week for sepsis, & was under our care at home for a short while, before having to be admitted a second time today for bleeding that would not stop due to his low platelet levels. Further testing is underway to find the root cause of his condition. Sadly, we have exhausted all of our insurance coverage on Maui’s first hospital admission & are kindly asking our friends & family for assistance. Every bit counts, & we appreciate you all so much for the love we have been receiving & will continue to receive by all of the wonderful people in our lives. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts & ask that you keep Maui in your thoughts & prayers. Maui is our light & we can’t imagine having to live without him.
