Because We Love Megan (and Barry)

Last year, Megan experienced an unexpected surgery partway through her pregnancy and 9 days in the NICU for their baby girl after an early arrival. Megan and Barry were working to get their feet back on the ground after all the medical bills and then were suddenly confronted with the news that Megan had thyroid cancer.

Along with mounting medical expenses, there will be other associated costs I was surprised to learn about. For example, when Megan receives radioactive iodine treatment, she must keep a five foot distance between herself and anyone else. As a young momma with three little ones, they recommend she stay in a hotel during the treatment rather than try to keep her distance at home.
