Jaye Benoit’s House Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
At approximately 8pm on Thursday, March 28th Jaye and her beautiful 4-year-old daughter Luna lost their home to a devastating house fire in Kitchener, B.C. Fortunately they were able to get out safely - although it was certainly harrowing. Regretfully, it is thought that their beloved cat Nico may not have survived. There was no time to retrieve any personal items, and they have lost absolutely everything.
Thankfully they are insured, however to help cover the costs beyond what insurance will cover, and to address their more immediate needs, a GoFundMe fundraiser has been created.
Any funds donated will go directly to Jaye to help provide for her and her daughter in order to support them in getting back on their feet again.
Jaye is a cherished friend, and dearly loved art instructor in our community. She is the proprietress of YellowBird School of Art - which is slated to open in just a few short weeks at a new location on Canyon Street, making it an especially difficult period of time due to this untimely event.
Thank you so much to those of you who have already offered their support, as well as those who are able to contribute to Jaye and Luna’s fire relief fund. Much love to you all.
