New Place To Live

Hello - My name is Mike and I am trying to raise money so my son, 2 cats, and I can move into a new home.

It has been a very rough process. Last year I hit many financial issues that ruined my credit rating. The place I was renting from for 7 years would not work with me (corporate run) and tossed us out at the end of our lease. Heck, they took me to eviction court several times that last year even though I asked for them to work with me. Even then I got things paid. Didn't matter to them. So then began the hunt for a new place to live. No place would touch me even though they said they would work with bad credit. Come to find out the old rental place has been giving bad referrals to everyone - even though I had 6 great years there! Never a complaint against me or anything.

Anyway - at the end of the lease I had to throw all of our possessions into storage and load up the kiddo and cats into a hotel. We've now been here for a couple of weeks. I've sent out several applications (each with at least a $50 fee). At long, loving, last - a place has accepted my application! Now is my problem, I have used up all of my moving money with fees, rentals (trucks, storage), the hotel, food, etc. I also have a work from home position, but cannot perform the job in a hotel on wifi - so my paycheck has suffered. To move into the new place, I need a combination of $5000 (deposits, fees, first month of rent, etc.) and I need to get it to the new rental place by 8/24/2023. It is also a lot of money to ask my family to dish out.

So I am asking you all to help out this single dad give his special needs son and pets a new home. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
