The All-Creating King

The All-Creating King (Kunje Gyalpo) is held by many to be the single most important source on the Great Perfection: the Dzogchen or Atiyoga. There has already been some good work done on this source, but we do not have a full translation of the entire text that is generally available. The Tibetan text for the Kunje Gyalpo is 264 pages in length, which will result in a book in English of around 600 pages. My translation will not be a summary, but will include the entire text. I will also not be presenting any commentary. This will be just the Kunje Gyalpo and all of the Kunje Gyalpo, in one volume.
The All-Creating King actually consists of three sources: There is the All-Creating King itself, which has 57 chapters, the Later Tantra on the All-Creating King, which has 12 chapters, and the Later of the Later Tantra on the All-Creating King, which has 15 chapters. All together there are 84 chapters. I will be translating all of them in full.
The All-Creating King, the Bodhicitta Sutra (Dochu), and the Eighteen Tantras are the three primary sources on the Mind Section (Semde). I have already translated the Bodhicitta Sutra and the Eighteen Tantras. I bring this experience into my translation of the All-Creating King. This book is not only a primary resource on the Great Perfection, it is a very beautiful work of literature, with profound poetics throughout. It is a real pleasure to immerse myself in the translation of such an amazing work.
