While at work on the farm, I sustained a light dislocated knee injury when one of the carts driven by another worker ran into me. I went to Erie Shores HealthCare for medical treatment and was given pain medication and a WSIB form to fill out. This led me to living with my step father once again. I needed to be out of the greenhouse, as my situation wasn't getting better, so I left the farm and stayed with a cousin in Kitchener, Ontario. While living in Kitchener, my mother introduced me to her friends. My mother became worried about me and had reached out to a longtime family friend who lives in Canada, to which they advised that I could stay with them where they would help me out.

Through this process, they proposed that I marry their daughter. Their daughter and I developed a relationship, and we planned to get married on December 26, 2024, at Norwood Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

On March 12th, 2025, I received a call being falsely accused of a crime resulting in extensive lawyer fees. I was shocked and immediately returned to their premises to rectify what was alleged. When I arrived there my father in law was forcing me to admit to a crime that was not true. I told him that I would not confess to something that I did not do or know anything about. I instructed him to contact whom is necessary and let them investigate what was said. This request was refused, stating that he wouldn't involve the authorities in something he wasn't certain was true.

I then returned to the residence and contacted my mother in Jamaica, informing her of the situation. She subsequently called my father-in-law to inquire about the allegations, and he repeated the claim.

He asked me to return to work with him multiple times, but I declined due to the unresolved allegations and that I feel scared for my life. I shared with him and I didn't feel comfortable, leaving me to ignore the text or calls.

The following Sunday, he renewed the accusations. I find him to be a serial manipulator who wants to use and abuse me to his advantage. One minute I am like his child, the next minute I am being accused of crimes to which I am innocent of. Since then, I have attempted on several occasions to retrieve my belongings and passport, but my calls and text messages have been ignored.

My step-father accompanied me to the residence to collect my belongings. Upon arrival, they handed over my belongings, but upon inspecting the items, I realized that my passport was missing.

Due to the persistent bullying, harassment and accusations by my uncle, I have decided to take legal action against him and those involved. Despite the allegations, I have yet to receive any official communication from the police. I need to see in writing what I am accused of so that I can respond to it appropriately with the guidance of a lawyer. I continue to face unsubstantiated accusations, which have led me to seek legal recourse to protect my rights and clear my name.
