Hey everyone,

This isn’t easy for me to write, but I’m learning that sometimes strength means asking for help. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and since then my life has been a series of appointments, surgeries, and emotional ups and downs that I never could’ve imagined.

I’ve already had two lumpectomies, but I just found out I’ll need a third one because the margins still aren’t clear. Hearing that news broke me for a moment — I’ve been trying to stay positive and push through, but this road has been tough physically, emotionally, and financially.

Between medical bills, copayments, treatments, and just trying to keep up with regular life, the costs have really added up. I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for a little help — we’re moving towards seeking care outside of New Orleans which is going to increase the amount of time and money we will be spending over the long haul.
