Hello Friends & Family,

This year has been hard on us as a family. On the fourth of July, Blanca discovered a lump on her left breast. Immediately, her doctors were informed and a biopsy was done with an MRI and unfortunately confirmed her cancer diagnosis. Our beloved Mami or Blanca was diagnosed in August 2025 with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. We were told by her oncologists that although it was caught early, it is an aggressive type of cancer. Not only has this taken a toll on us emotionally but also financially as her insurance does not fully cover the costs of her treatment and surgery. For anyone who has had the privilege to know her, she is a very optimistic, funny, caring and loving person who has a hard time asking for help. Which is why we, her family are asking for any contribution to help us reach our goal. And if not, please keep her in your prayers as chemo has affected her tremendously and she still has a long way to go and afterwards she will require surgery as well as radiation.

Este año ha sido muy difícil para nuestra familia. El 4 de julio, Blanca descubrió un bulto en su seno izquierdo. Inmediatamente, se informó a sus médicos y se le realizó una biopsia con resonancia magnética, la cual, lamentablemente, confirmó el diagnóstico de cáncer. Nuestra querida Mami, o Blanca, fue diagnosticada en agosto de 2025 con cáncer de mama triple negativo en etapa 2. Sus oncologos nos dijeron que, aunque se detectó a tiempo, es un tipo de cáncer agresivo. Esto nos ha afectado no solo emocionalmente, sino también económicamente, ya que su seguro no cubre la totalidad de los costos de su tratamiento y cirugía. Para quienes han tenido el privilegio de conocerla, ella es una persona muy optimista, divertida, cariñosa y amorosa a la que le cuesta pedir ayuda. Por eso, su familia solicita cualquier contribución para ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestra meta. Y si no pueden hacerlo, por favor, inclúyanla en sus oraciones, ya que la quimioterapia la ha afectado muchísimo y aún le queda un largo camino por recorrer; después, requerirá cirugía y radioterapia.
