UNLOCK Class Nicaragua Trip

UNLOCK is a student led organization which exists to educate, empower and equip children and families in impoverished areas by creating a duplicable self-sustaining community. In March of 2015, we have a group of students and teachers headed to Nicaragua. Our goal is to build relationships with our native partners and the people of the community in which we will be working. This week we were able to begin getting to know our primary partner via Skype. Upon returning from Nicaragua, we will begin working with our partners of the community to meet the needs of the people there. Without financial support, many students in the class will not be able to attend due to financial constraints. Our first fundraising goal, reflected here, is to raise our airfare expenses.
