Hello All,
My name is Carol Garcia and I am writing this for my grand daughter Cheyanne Underwood. She has been diagnosed with Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMAS) and Nutcracker Syndrome (left renal vein compression). Those with this syndrome become too weak to work and have a hard time making ends meet. SMAS is a rare syndrome that takes 1 in 3 lives. Because this is a rare syndrome Cheyanne does not qualify for disability so every little bit of help she receives helps her survive day to day.
SMAS information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superior_mesenteric_artery_syndrome SMAS prevents her from getting 85% of the nutrients from the food she eats. She is under 100 pounds due to this syndrome and unless she has a successful surgery she won’t be able to gain the weight needed in aiding her recovery.
The recovery process for this procedure is long and difficult. This will prevent her from earning any income during this extended recovery stage. It will be extremely hard for her to support her family as well as cover towering medical expenses she is incurring from this unforeseen circumstance.
Cheyanne is a loving wife and amazing friend. She has made countless sacrifices and has always looked out for others including myself by donating her time and energy. With this condition she has not been able to start a family with her husband. The doctors say that it is too risky for her to have child with this condition still present.
In her moment of need, a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated in helping my sweet grand daughter. Your donations help pay medical bills, regular bills, medicine, medical travel costs, etc. With a successful surgery and your support, Cheyanne will be able to make her dreams come true.
Due to her condition, Cheyanne’s husband, Noah Underwood will be handling the administration of this GoFundMe account. He will withdraw the funds to cover for lost wages and to pay for medical expenses as Cheyanne is recovering.
Thank you in advance for your love and support. Keep spreading the word!
