Help take the Flying Circus East

Over the last couple of years, my solo band, christened "The Flying Circus" had had the honor of closing most of the Camper Van Beethoven/Cracker Campout Festivals at Pappy & Harriett's in Pioneertown, CA. This year, the Camper/Cracker familiy has decided to do a "Camp In" in January. We've had many request to bring the band (Paul Olguin, John Hanes, Greg Lisher, Loralee Christensen and Bruce Kaphan) east, and this is our chance. The band features some of the best players I've ever worked with, and we've been touring on my most recent album, Hard To See Trouble Coming this year. If you see this band live, you won't forget them.

We're flying east on January 26, playing the Evening Muse in Charlotte NC the 27th, then moving on to the Camp In in Athens for the 28-30th of January. I'm fundraising here to subsidize the travel costs and the costs of paying the musicians.




We're starting this campaign this weekend and I'm leaving it up for a week after we end the tour for anyone who saw us to help contribute. This is a remarkably special band filled with a lot of veteran players with some remarkable credits to thier names. They've poured their hearts and souls into playing music most of their lives and it shows. You helping fund us going east both allows you a chance to see the band if you're in the area, and allow our fans to enjoy what we do best at Campout.
