We are reaching out to all who are willing because we are raising money for a dear, dear friend of ours, Casey Pasciucco.
This amazing person whom we all love and adore - was recently made aware that he has a battle to fight...a battle that has become all too familiar to each of us, a battle fighting cancer.
About a year ago Casey was feeling pain in his leg, after getting checked out, he found out that it was not just pain, it was a tumor. Osteosarcoma Stage II in the background of Giant Cell Tumor of Bone, it's a bone tumor found predominantly at the end of long bones in the knee region. Following surgery to remove part of his femur, Casey found out that his tumor was malignant.
Casey will be starting chemotherapy, before a second surgery to remove and replace additional bone .
Like most of us, his health insurance will cover some of the expenses, but this will be a long battle that will impact our Casey and the entire Pasciucco family on so many levels.
What many of you do not know is that Casey is the primary means of support for his family. His Mother (Patricia ) was stricken at a young age with MS , another horrible disease that has robbed her of her mobility and means to provide for her family.
We want to raise these funds for him so that he doesn’t concern himself with being able to help keep a roof over his family heads.
We already know that for a minimum of 10 weeks during the chemo treatments he may not be able to work at all. Casey however is determined to try to work intermittently, the weeks that he is not in the hospital, depending on what his body can endure. At this stage he also has no idea what his insurance will cover, but it’s pretty clear there will also be additional medical bills. If we raise these funds for him, he will not have to worry about making money to put food on the table, pay rent, and tackle those bills that will start piling up.
The entire Pasciucco family are just emerging from one of the most traumatic events anyone could ever endure, when they lost a son, husband and brother (Matthew Pasciucco), who was taken from us by a drunk driver.
Please help us raise money for this unexpected journey forced upon Casey and his family and remove some of the financial burden from their shoulders so they can focus on getting Casey healthy.
Anything you are willing to donate will be graciously accepted. While the current economic climate has affected so many, we understand that some of you may not be in a position to help by donation.
What we ask is you repost or forward this on.
This ask, is not one we take lightly, this is extremely important and Casey is so close to our hearts so we respectfully request any and all assistance to help the family with this battle.
Please show them that love and support is unconditional. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
