Hi, my name is Jasmyne. Being this open and vulnerable is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But as most know I am a single mother and a nursing student, and every day I’m doing everything I can to hold life together for my daughter and myself. I balance school, work and parenting on my own, with little to no support. The responsibility of providing emotionally, physically, and financially falls entirely on me.

Nursing school is demanding, and while I am deeply committed to this path, the financial pressure has become overwhelming. My monthly rent alone is $1,830, and when combined with utilities, school tuition, books, transportation, and basic living expenses, it has become increasingly difficult to stay afloat while remaining enrolled and present as a mother.

I’m not asking for luxury or comfort. I’m asking for stability. I want to keep a roof over my daughter’s head while I continue working toward a future that allows us to live without constant fear of falling more behind. I’ve sacrificed sleep, time, and comfort to stay on this path, but right now, I need help to keep going.
