Bring Ember Home

Our little girls name is Ember and she was born July 17th, 2025. She had a 6 day NICU stay at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas followed by 4 inpatient admissions including two NG (nose) tubes and one G-tube. The hospital lied to us as to why she needed such interventions and the doctors kept having us return to the hospital. On 10/06 we took her to the hospital because her G-tube site looked infected as well as her screaming during feedings. We were told this is normal and babies cry. Today 10/07 she was as white as a ghost, formula was leaking from around her G-tube, dehydrated, and couldn't stay awake. We took her to Ascension to attempt to transfer her to Children's Mercy Hospital in KC and they sent us back to Wesley in order to transfer her to Childrens Mercy by helicopter. However, after finding multiple healing fractures no one (not even they) suspected yesterday they immediately took our baby Ember into police protective custody. We later found out they suspected Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and/or osteogenesis imperfecta - brittle bone disease. Both of which I am suspected of having or am a carrier of. They also failed to tell us their impression was that she was septic with pneumonia. We would never hurt our baby girl. She is a miracle from God we were told would never happen. We just want our baby girl back in her home with us her parents and her two brothers. Unfortunately, it will take multiple attorneys to fight for our daughter to get her home. We don't care about the money just Ember. She was a very happy baby prior to Wesley and Ascension getting involved. She would smile and coo at just about everyone and rarely ever cry. She loved cuddles and music and now she's 3.5 hours away from us with no one who loves her next to her side. They state if we, our family, or friends attempt to see her we/they will be arrested. We are devastated and heartbroken. No parent deserves this and Ember certainly deserves better and people who love her. Please pray and if you can please donate to help us get our little girl back.
