Nicole's back surgery

On July 20, 2012, our daughter Nicole Beaubien Foxlee was in a bad car accident. She was misdiagnosed at the hospital as having cracked ribs and told she could continue to work as a nail tech.  She worked for months as the pain in her back increased. She saw a specialist and found out she had 2 fractured vertibrae with a bulging disc in her lower back.

She  has spent the last 2 1/2 years with daily pain and has continued to serve her clients while giving up many of the activities she used to enjoy, like kayaking and disc golf. The pain had finally gotten bad enough that she was willing to get an injection in her spine to hopefully reduce the pain. She had a new MRI and the Dr. found that she has had increased swelling of the disc that is putting more pressure on her spine. If she doesn't have surgery, she could have irreversible nerve damage, so at age 36, she will be having back surgery sometime in January. 

The medical costs are supposed to be paid by the insurance company from the accident, but her lost wages will not be covered. She will be off work for 2 to 3 months and will have no way to pay her expenses that will continue to accumulate . She  has been unable to get any financial support from the insurance company so we are starting this campaign to raise money to cover her wages while she is recovering.

My daughter has a heart of gold and would do anything to help a friend in need.  This is our turn to help her when she is in need. This will help take one worry away from her as she concentrates on her recovery.

I would like to thank you all in advance for your support. I wish I was in a position to do this on my own, but as I'm not, I am counting on the love of friends and family to do for my daughter what I can't do myself.
