Hello – My name is Carl Freed and I am the other guy in this picture with my dear, dear friend Jim McDonald. As many of you may have heard, Jim was hit by a train last week and thanks to his incredibly hard head his only injuries were several skull fractures and a cut on his temple. He is unconscious but moving his arms and legs and aggravating nurses when they try move him around.

The doctors will not know the extent (if any) of his brain damage until they can take him off his ventilator. That should happen sometime in the next week.
 
Jim and Suzanne are in an uncomfortable position and I know that we can all help them out. Suzanne has been ill for quite some time and is unable to work consistently, Jim has been helping out as much as he can, but they are falling very short financially and the kicker is - he has very limited insurance and it will far from cover his estimated medical expenses.
 
I know that Jim would pitch a McDonald fit if he knew I was creating a Go Fund Me page. To hell with him. We can all help, and the McDonalds need all the help we can give.
