Support Emily's Battle Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Emily, and I am incredibly grateful for you taking the time to read my story.
I’m a 35-year-old mom to two beautiful daughters, a wife, and the manager of a nonprofit labor union. Just two weeks before Christmas, on December 13, 2024, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I’ve been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and am positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation, which increases my risk of additional cancers. I will undergo a double mastectomy on January 30, 2025, with further treatments depending on the results of post-surgery testing.
Supporting and advocating for others has always been a core part of my life, whether at work or with my family. Asking for help feels humbling, but this fight is something I can’t face alone.
Any donations will go directly toward medical expenses and supporting my family during my recovery. Your generosity will help ease the financial strain of surgery, treatments, and time away from work, allowing me to focus on healing and being present with my loved ones.
If you’re unable to contribute, sharing my story would mean the world to me. Your kindness, prayers, and positive thoughts are deeply appreciated as I navigate this journey.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, support, and generosity.
