A young life has been lost far from home.
A 22-year-old Afghan boy tragically drowned in the waters of Italy. He left his homeland with hopes, dreams, and the desire to support his family — but his journey ended in heartbreak.
His family is devastated beyond words. They are already struggling with poverty, and the shock of this tragedy has been unbearable. After hearing the news of his son’s death, his father fell into a coma. His mother is now left alone, carrying both grief and helplessness at the same time.
We are trying to raise funds to bring his body back home, so he can be laid to rest with dignity, among his loved ones. This is the last act of kindness we can offer him — to return him to his family, to his soil, to peace.
