Four years ago, at the age of 49, Roger Senef was a healthy rancher and farmer, then one day that all changed when a virus attacked Roger's heart. Since that time he has been in and out the hospital battling for his life.
Fast forward today, Roger and his wife Patty are currently in the CCU at Mayo Clinic where Roger was recently put on status A1 for a heart transplant. Doctors told him he cannot leave otherwise he will lose his status and possibly his life.
He has a 14 year old son who is at home trying to keep the family ranch and farm going. The family home had a pipe burst and they are trying to help their son contend with this from thousands of miles away.
With all of this going on this wonderful family has kept their faith and spirits alive through love and hope.
Still the financial burden is much to great. They have no other choice but to stay in Mayo. This means lodging, food, medication and of course medical bills plus the cost of keeping their home going is far too much for them to bare alone. I am asking for everyone to please help in anyway possible to assist this amazing family with the financial debt.
