** Poppy’s Recovery Progress, and Urgent Needs **
Dear Friends,
Poppy’s progress has been incredible, and I’m thrilled to share her improvements with you after speaking with her Internal Medicine Specialist:
• Decrease in fluid buildup
• Gained 8.5 pounds
• Kidneys are officially normal!
• Working on helping her gut recover
• On track for full recovery by Christmas (less than 50 days)
• Discontinued 3 medications due to her recovery progress
What We Need From You:
• Food: $400 (cost will decrease by January)
• Next prescriptions: $75
• Insurance: $155
• This week’s vet visit: $300
This is the critical point in Poppy’s treatment. Any delay now risks her life. Every improvement we’ve seen is thanks to your generosity, and we’re so close to ensuring her full recovery. Please continue supporting her care so she can live and thrive.
Thank you for everything you’ve done to help Poppy on this journey.

**Update on Poppy’s Recovery – Urgent $$$ Help Needed**
Dear Friends,
I’m happy to share that Poppy is doing much better! She’s wagging her tail, playing, and slowly returning to her joyful self. Her doctors now believe her condition may be due to an infection or autoimmune response from a tick or flea bite, meaning it’s not a long-term issue. With treatment, she has a high prognosis for survival and a great quality of life, especially now that she’s under the care of her specialist.
As many of you know, Poppy is my service animal, and she has been trained over the past 2.5 years—an investment of more than $60,000 in time and energy. Losing her because I’m a day late and a dollar short would be heartbreaking. She deserves a chance at a long, happy life, and with your help, we can ensure she gets that opportunity.
We’re nearing the end of her treatment, but I need your support to cover the final 10% of my portion of the costs.
What We Need:
• $3,591.47 remaining balance from her recent medical bills
• $1,000 for her prescription food and ongoing treatments over the next three months that are live-saving and cannot have any delay.
These costs need to be covered upfront to continue her care, and any contribution, no matter how small, will help keep Poppy on track to full recovery.
Thank you so much for your support and for helping Poppy get back to her healthy, happy self. She’s barely 2.5 years old and deserves the chance at a long life. God bless you, and thank you for your generosity.
With heartfelt thanks,
Angelea

**ORIGINAL POST**
Hello Everyone,
I’m urgently asking for your help for my 2-year-old Dalmatian, Poppy. She recently had 7 pounds of fluid removed from her abdomen, and while the emergency intervention stabilized her, her condition is still life-threatening. Poppy has only five days to get critical bloodwork done to identify whether her heart or liver is at risk. Without this test and immediate treatment, she may not survive.
Poppy currently weighs the same as she did at seven months old, which makes her severely underweight. With the right diagnosis, prescription diet, and medications, she has a strong chance to recover fully and live a healthy, happy life.
Trupanion insurance covers 90% of eligible costs directly to the hospital, but I urgently need help to cover the remaining 10% and fund her diagnostics, prescription food, and treatment for recovery. The initial $300 is crucial for the blood test within the next 72 hours—without this, Poppy’s chance at survival fades quickly. The full goal of $2,000 will ensure she receives all necessary care to restore her health.
Time is running out for Poppy. Any support you can offer will make the difference between life and death. Thank you for your generosity and kindness in helping her get back on her paws.
With deep gratitude,
Angelea R.
P.S. Please consider covering the GoFundMe fees so all monies donated go directly to supporting Poppy. Thanks again!
