Greetings, My name is Carla. I was raised and spent my younger childhood in Westmoreland Jamaica. My heart aches when I see the devastation and the historic destruction caused by a category 5 hurricane, Melissa. I am setting up this go fund me to give back to my community to help friends and family and those in need. Most people have lost their homes and everything has been destroyed. There are elderly people and babies that are homeless at this moment, with no food, light or water. We initially set for £1000 but if we are able to raise more then even better as every extra pound will allow us to reach more families in our community. The funds will be going towards building materials, purchasing food, clothes and toiletries. Let’s keep the momentum going please. Any contributions received will be greatly appreciated and will be going to a really good cause. Thank you. One love
