Helping Pam Heskin
Donation protected
Our beautiful mum, Pam, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a rare and terminal condition, for which conventionally there is no cure. Still relatively young, only in her late 60's this news has been devastating; with nothing Western Medicine can do to support her, only assist in aids for this progressive condition.
We are urgently raising funds to help ease her symptoms. Sadly our conventional medicine choices are fairly limited. But there are a range of complimentary/holistic/natural protocols that we can follow.
The treatments we have found cost between £200 to £400 a month, so we are trying to raise funds for at least a years’ worth of treatments to support mum’s health and wellbeing, in addition to the help we get from the NHS. The treatment includes naturopathic protocols, body therapies and dietary supplements and recommendations.
Our aim is to at the very least enhance mum's quality of life for as long as possible, whilst also in connection with some experienced practitioners involved in the latest research and active trials in regards to at least one of the natural protocols we are planning on implementing.
Mum has reached a point where she is suffering from pain, is in a wheelchair and finds things, we often take for granted, difficult. Anyone who knows her will know how independent she is and we want to help her keep that independence for as long as possible. Your donations will help with that. Every penny we receive will be spent on Mum's treatments. We have already started some of the treatments to give us the greatest chance we have of keeping her at her current level of ability and slow down the progression of the disease.
As a single parent mum has fought and been a tower of strength for us as we grew up. We have set up this crowd funding to in some small way show our appreciation for her love and care under what were at times very difficult circumstances.
We would like to thank you for reading this far and hope you can help by donating even a small amount of money. Perhaps you could also share this around too, as we are trying to reach as many people that may be willing and able to support this appeal in some way.
Thanks, much love
