Support Steve's Journey to Recovery

To All My Friends:

Many of you know, I have been spending several hours a day at my dad's assisted living facility. While visiting my dad, I have become friendly with one of the residents named Steve. Steve is 63 , and up to a year and a half ago, he was a builder. He woke up one day, and wasn't feeling well, and by the next day he was paralyzed from the neck down. He is a fighter and slowly is getting some feeling back, he can use his arms, not his hands or his legs. His sister (Donna) is remarkable and visits every day to help him with daily tasks (feeding, and all of life's essentials).

I'm reaching out to my friends, as Steve's birthday is Easter Sunday. I plan on visiting him, so his sister can spend some time with her family. I would like to raise funds, as his medical expenses are insane. I'm hoping to bring him a smile on Sunday and to surprise him with some gifts and funds to assist with his expenses.

Steve is teaching me a life lesson, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. Cherish every day.
