Hi, my name is Candy and I'm hoping to raise enough money to replace items that were lost due to a fire at my home.

On November 4, 2025, there was a fire at my home. It started in the basement and destroyed my daughter's (Brittany's) bedroom. All her furniture, clothes, shoes, purses, makeup, and personal items are gone. Nothing is left of her room or the rest of the basement due to the fire and water damage.

The upstairs was damaged by smoke and soot. Luckily, my bedroom and my granddaughter's (who is 10) room are upstairs, so the damage wasn't as bad. There was some damage to her clothes, shoes, etc.

Unfortunately, I lost both of my cats: Levi, who was 8, and Jett, who was 3 months old. My dog, Leah, 12 y.o., made it out.

Brittany tried several times to go back into the house to save the cats, but the fire was so fast, and the smoke was thick and black; you couldn't breathe or see your hand in front of your face.

We are devastated by the loss of the cats, but I'm thankful we made it out safe.
