Four month old Gretchen Mitchell was flown by Life Flight to Nationwide Children's Hospital on Friday November 7 after her parents (Brandon and Amanda) took her to Licking Memorial Hospital because she was not eating and was not herself. Children's Hospital ran every test possible on Gretchen to figure out what was wrong with her. Gretchen has been diagnosed with a rare form of Infant Botulism. This has basically paralized her and she has not opened her eyes or moved since Friday. An Antibody called Babybig had to be flown in from California to be given to Gretchen. Gretchen was given the medicine on Sunday, but it will take a few days to see any results from the drug. This medicine is very expensive, as is the rest of the medical expenses. If we could all come together and donate money to help Brandon and Amanda in the recovery of their beautiful daughter it would be a huge blessing for them. We are optimistic that Gretchen will make a full recovery, but it is long recovery for her. Please pray for this wonderful baby and her famlily and help them through this very difficult time. Any donations big or small will be a huge help. Thank you!
