Support Olivia's Battle Against Ewing Sarcoma

I'm Aunt Melissa and the little beauty next to me is my sweet 16 year old niece, Olivia. She was supposed to be getting her license to drive this month and begin her Junior year of High School but instead received the heaviest news of her young life. She has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in her pelvis. It is a rare bone cancer (one in a million) that most often impacts children and adolescents. After imaging scans, it has been discovered to be metastasized in her lungs as well. Now, she fights! She started chemotherapy around the beginning of August and will also be undergoing radiation as well. So far, a year of treatment is anticipated. It's a lot of hospital visits.

Life has been turned upside down for my sister's family. She can no longer work as she needs to remain home to monitor Olivia in between treatments. That's hard on what has been a double income household. The last thing families in a health crisis should need to worry about is paying medical bills that insurance won't cover. They should only have to focus on getting this young and precious girl well. And so I have started this Gofundme page to help them maintain that focus.
