Hi everyone,

I'd like to raise some funds for my friend James, who just came home after eighteen years of incarceration.

I connected with James after watching a documentary called The Feminist in Cell Block Y about a group of prisoners, including James, who led workshops on patriarchy and feminism at CTF Soledad, a prison near my hometown.

James was sent to prison when he was seventeen. This means he's lived most of his life behind bars. Now that he's home, he plans on organizing as an abolitionist, making art, and enjoying his freedom!
