Fight for Carrie

Our mom Carrie Rouse was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of this year. Her cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and the decision was made to have them removed. She underwent surgery in mid-February and is now recovering with the help of her kids. After 6 weeks of recovery, she may or may not be undergoing chemotherapy. Depending on the surgery results, if there is cancer in 3 or more lymph nodes (she has it in 2 for sure), they will do chemo. She will be undergoing radiation no matter what (if chemo is required, that will come first); otherwise, radiation will start after she recovers from surgery. As many of you know, her husband Jerry Rouse passed away from stage 4 metastatic gastric cancer 2 years ago. Although this has come as another massive shock to our family, we anticipate her to make a complete recovery. We are praying for this cancer to be completely eradicated. We have already seen many blessings throughout this time, and no matter what she goes through, she trusts and knows that God will be glorified in all of this.

Most importantly, we are asking for PRAYERS for her; we see the power of prayer and appreciate all of them so far. So thank you! Also, medical bills are piling up for her, so she will use any amount given for hospital stays, treatments, co-pays, travel expenses, etc. Anything & everything is greatly appreciated!! A huge THANK YOU for all your love, support, and prayers for our mom during this time.
