Aloha, my name is Kalei Rivas. I am from the Big Island of Hawaii, and I am 15 years old. This fundraiser is to help me achieve my goals. Your donations will support these expenses: contest entry fees, inter-island travel, accommodation, and training sessions.

I have been surfing and skateboarding for 11 years. I started sailing 3 years ago and have gone on many sailing adventures throughout the Hawaiian Islands. I started surfing competitively when I was 7 years old, winning my first contest ever. From then on, I got 4th in states, 3rd in the Quicksilver Big Island Pro Am, and I have won many HSA events. In late 2023, I joined the Florence Marine X surf team.

My goal is to become one of the greatest surfers of all time, and in order to do that, I need to compete in competitions and continue training with my coaches, Kahea Hart and Jason Shibata. As some of you know, surfing is an expensive sport, and I am looking to raise money to help me in my journey of becoming a professional surfer.
