Hi, I am having surgery for a tendon and ligament repair on my ankle. I won't be able to return to work for a while. I work as a dishwasher and I am on my feet all the time. It's not convenient for me to use an ankle scooter because I work in a wet environment and could re-injure myself.

Before I injured myself, I did not have savings and was finishing off paying for my community college. I don't have anyone that could help me financially. I'm fortunate to have state aid to help with my rent for the month, but I still need help with utilities, groceries, and feminine care products and medical aid products. I am asking for help so I can take the month off and recover without worrying about how I will eat, and stay in contact with my doctors and job.
