My name is Lucus McNally, I'm currently studying @ The Northern School of Art, doing a Masters Degree in Directing and Performance Practice.

I'm raising funds for my Final Major Project: Holiday Mixtape

Holiday Mixtape is a theatrical piece that tells the story of five ordinary university students that undergo a string of events that alter their future. This play - both written and directed by myself - centers around one location and told through the lens of Halloween, Christmas and New Year.

The play examines a series of complex relationships and delves into an array of themes and topics that I'm deeply passionate about exploring and bringing to life on the stage. The piece will highlight identify and finding yourself, violence through spiking, financial difficulties, anxiety for the future, love and loss and an overarching theme of hope and relationships at it's core...

Funding is a key component that will aid my piece in assembling itself together. The funding would be use to get obtain props, set and costume pieces and digital design work.

Holiday Mixtape is a story that demonstrates the light and dark of the everyday and - with the right care and attention to detail taken - will breathe life into a collection of different stories and characters that will resonate with the audience.
