It's 1 o'clock in the morning in Bloomfield, Indiana.  There's a really strange roaring sound outside.  Someone's yelling and pounding on the front door.  It's the Sheriff.

"Does anyone live in that building?"

He points in the direction of an orange glow in the night sky, and you see your livelihood of 40+ years disappearing in flames and smoke.  Everything is gone:  the building, tools, raw materials, projects in mid-process, and very sadly, Slippers and Elliot, the two shop cats.

On Monday morning, Lance and Vicki's lives abruptly changed course when a fire destroyed a lifetime of extraordinary craftsmanship.  As furniture makers who use traditional woodworking techniques, Lance and Vicki are not only regarded as excellent artisans, but are also known as some of the best people you will have the privilege to meet.
