After losing Our 15 year old lab/ chow mix on Friday 12/4/15 we noticed that our 9 year old Border Collie Biscuit was acting strange. At an emergency appointment at the vet on Monday we were told that he was suffering from a bilateral perineal hernia that would require a surgical correction to save him. The surgery will cost around $5000. We are a middle age couple that was not able to have children and our pets are like our kids. So needless to say, we are devastated. We live on a fixed income and have no way to come up with that kind of money. Biscuit truly is my husbands best friend.
