Help support my mum while she battles cancer ❤️

Hi everyone! my name is Britt and my mum, Rachel, was diagnosed with cancer in early February 2024, she is currently doing immunotherapy and chemotherapy. She had cancer removed on her tongue on the 29th of February, and she has been dealing with the challenges of learning to eat and drink again, as well as speaking. During surgery, cancer was found in her lymph nodes, and they were removed from her neck. Following surgery, my mum had 6 weeks of radiation treatment, unfortunately a subsequent scan identified a metastatic cancer in another lymph node, and in the lung tissue. My mum is my best friend with a heart of gold, and has always put other people’s needs before her own, and even in this difficult time she has remained positive, strong, and has a smile on her face every day. She has always been a very independent woman and has managed to sustain upkeep of everything, but the bills have kept coming, and she has been unable to work since surgery.
