It’s nearly come to a year of my brothers passing. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. Some days are tougher than others, but keeping his memory alive is what keeps me going. A few days before my brother passed his car was set on fire in front of his home. He was the victim of arson. It makes me angry to think, that if he had his car, perhaps he wouldn’t have been the passenger in the accident he was in, and he’d still be here with us. The people who did this to him have moved on with no consequence. Yet here I am nearly a year later. Grieving my brother and the constant reminder of what was done to him, as I’ve been dealing with his auto insurance claim he left. It’s finally come to a closing and I was given the option to retain his car for a fee. I can’t help but feel like it’s the last thing I have to hold onto of his. I hope to be able to raise the funds to keep his car and repair it. If you’d like to donate I would truly appreciate it.
