SAVE REXBURG MUSIC

The Basement has to close their doors permanently. They fought super hard this year through COVID, changing owners, the capacity, a landlord who blamed them for anything and adding to the team. Their favorite leasing manager ever, and biggest advocate, Steve Jensen, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack and it was the biggest loss they could’ve taken. He loved the Basement and did so much for it, and as soon as he was gone, the building owner said he wouldn’t even consider keeping the Basement. It’s been made clear that Rexburg music needs to keep going. It’s a source of passion and relief for students, bands, and locals.
