Please help Jennifer Ruptured Brain aneurysm
Please help Jennifer Thompson. She suffered a brain aneurysm today on November 10th and is currently in the ICU at Crozer Chester Hospital fighting for her life.
She does not have insurance coverage and was denied coverage when attempting to apply this year for assistance. Jennifer is the mother of my best friend Jessica Ama and sister Samantha Thompson. They are so scared and need all the support they can get. Jennifer works 60 plus hours a week to make ends meet. Please consider donating to help this family.
thank you for anything and everything ❤️

***UPDATE***11/12/19 from Jessica Ama and Sam Thompson
Mom had to have another procedure to help relieve the fluid and pressure around her brain. She is mostly sleeping but when she wakes she has been able to answer some questions correctly. Her doctors have been satisfied with her progress and are keeping her very closely monitored. Things are still very touch and go and we are living on a 24 hour basis, but we are having hope with any positive strides. Words can not express how thankful Sam and I are for everyone’s outpouring of love and support during this very difficult time. We will try our best to keep everyone updated as much as we can. ❤️

Now that I’ve had some time to process all of this..
On Saturday November 9th, my mom had a horrible headache and began vomiting. She went to an urgent care where she was told she simply had a sinus infection, prescribed antibiotics and sent home.
By 2pm the next day, she could not be woken up from her sleep.
After calling 911 and having her rushed to the ER, it was discovered there was a brain bleed. She was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center to the Neurological ICU.
A procedure was performed to try to stop the bleeding from the aneurism. While they were operating, it was also discovered that she has a blood clot on the other side of her brain.
The bleeding was the more pressing matter at the time so they chose to stop that first.
When..and if..she makes it through the very crucial next 2 weeks in the Neuro ICU, plans will be made to hopefully get rid of the clot in her brain.
She still has not woken up and we do not know the extent of damage that could have affected her brain until she does.
I’m not one to normally be so open on social media about matters like this, but I also want to believe that if there is anyway positive vibes, prayers & thoughts can somehow make it so my mom will be okay, I’ll do anything.
My mom has worked hard her entire life, and she is the type of person that would give you the shirt off of her back if she could. She did not have health insurance through her job, was denied Medical Assistance because she made less than 100.00 too much per month and could not afford it out of pocket. It blows my mind that we are even thinking about this type of stuff during this time, but this is a reality of the times we live in today. Getting sick is scary enough.
If you’ve read this far down, I do appreciate it. This still doesn’t feel real and my sister and I are in a fog. Please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. We can’t lose her, we just cant.
