I’m reaching out today to ask for your help with funding my rescue horse, Shilohs, life-saving colic surgery.

Shiloh has been through so much in his life. He spent many of his years as a harness race horse in New Jersey. He endured many years on track, as evidenced by the pin-firing scars he still bears to this day. He made people lot's of money over the years and then they retired him after the winnings stalled. After his race career, he was sold to the Amish in Pennsylvania, pulling buggies all day. When Shiloh was no longer of use to them, he was sent to an auction house—a heartbreaking fate that often ends with horses being sold for meat and shipped to other countries.

But Shiloh’s story took a turn for the better when I adopted him in January of 2021, after he was rescued from an uncertain future. Since then, Shiloh has become a beloved pasture pet, known for his sweet personality and resilience. Many of you might even recognize him from his TikTok account, Sharing Shiloh, where he has captured the hearts of followers from around the world.

Unfortunately, Shiloh is now facing his toughest challenge yet. He needs a critical surgery to save his life, and the costs—on top of many recent vet bills—are overwhelming. I have poured my heart, time, and resources into giving Shiloh a safe and happy life, and now I am turning to this amazing community for help.
