Help H get the right support to thrive rather than survive

Hi my name is Aysha and I’m mummy to Harrison a little boy with complex needs including cerebral palsy, Autism and ADHD.

I adopted H, as a single parent, 7 years ago, and it’s been quite a battle to get us the support that we need.

Having Lived through early life trauma and having disabilities and neurodiversity H struggles to regulate his emotions, leading to behaviour that challenges and aggression.

In recent months his mental health has suffered and his anxiety has led to isolation and Emotional Based School Avoidance {EBSA}

To get Harrison the right support I need to fund some private holistic assessments. These will highlight exactly what support he requires, get the right level of care support and ensure he’s in the right highly specialist education setting. As his current SEN school are no longer the right setting.

I’d hoped to use support from the adoption support funds, however due to red tape the funding is not available for a service that can assess his multiple complex needs.

I am therefore hoping to raise £3000 to get the assessments my boy needs to enable him to begin thriving like I know he can!
