Let me start by saying THANK YOU in advance for any and all support.
My brother Mark Anthony, as many of you know, is a kind soul and just is a total delight to be around. This past week he was coming back from Lancaster thru this horrible canyon road after a surprise visit to his girlfriend. And given it was night and unfamiliar territory, specially riding a motorcycle down that way. My brother lost control and smacked right into the canyon injuring his entire right side.
He sustained major injuries to his arm and leg, breaking most of his bones in his right arm, and breaking the femur also in his right leg. After the accident, he was laying there for more than 45 mins till help arrived. Thank god and bless Benjamin and his wife for staying with Mark till help arrived.
He then was flown out of the canyon to the nearest hospital which is Antelope Valley Hospital up in Lancaster. When we heard the news, we were sure if he was alive or not, but we then got the call stating that he is alive but needs to go under surgery ASAP , as his arm and leg were severally damaged due to the crash. The doctors said that they weren't sure if they could save his arm and leg.
Mark went under several surgeries in the upcoming days, and thank the lord once more, the doctors were able to save both his leg and arm.
Through all this, this guy still remains with the same attitude, not even skipping a beat. My good friend of ours Chase even flew down from up north to see Mark and he was just happy for us to be by his side and actually thanked us for being there. Mark still being Mark.
He is in good condition, but will need as much love as we can give him. He has a tough road ahead, he will need to re-learn his right side all together. But he is a BRANCH and I know he will be just fine. And I can't wait for him to be home again.
I started this GoFundMe account to help us out with Marks bills and mainly the hospital bills. Please be glad to know that Marks boss is still holding his position at his job, so when Mark is back, he can go right back to work. But in the meantime, my mom and I are taking care of the bills that are need.
