Juan Manuel nos necesita: cirugía craneal urgente

Hola, soy Juan Manuel. Nací hace 2 meses, el 8 de septiembre de 2023 en Quito, Ecuador. Mis padres Alejandro y María Laura me aman mucho, al igual que mi hermano José Ramón de 2 años.

Desde mi nacimiento, los médicos notaron una condición rara en mí: mis huesos de la frente están fusionados prematuramente. Esto se llama craneosinostosis trigonocefálica. Básicamente, los huesos de mi cráneo están creciendo de manera anormal.

Necesito una cirugía urgente para corregir esto, pero debo esperar a cumplir 4 meses porque aún soy muy pequeño y mi cuerpo es frágil. Mis médicos recomiendan esperar para que la cirugía sea segura. Sin esta cirugía, podría tener problemas en mi desarrollo.

Mis padres deben reunir 30 mil (USD) dólares americanos / 41 mil (CAD) dólares canadienses en solo 2 meses para pagar esta cirugía y cubrir posibles gastos médicos antes, durante y después de la operación. Es una gran suma para nosotros. Pero sé que con tu ayuda podemos lograrlo.

Hello, I'm Juan Manuel. I was born 2 months ago on September 8, 2023 in Quito, Ecuador. My parents Alejandro and Maria Laura love me very much, as well as my 2-year-old brother Jose Ramon.

Since birth, doctors noticed a rare condition in me: my frontal bones are prematurely fused. This is called trigonocephalic craniosynostosis. Basically, the bones in my skull are growing abnormally.
