About Three weeks ago we found out that Datha had neuroendocrine cancer. This cancer can show up anywhere in the body and usually is found by accident. Datha wasn't feeling well, went to the hospital where they found the cancer with a CT scan.

The tumor was very large and had spread into lymph nodes.  She is in the care of a very good oncologist, who has since performed surgery, removed the tumor, and will begin chemotherapy shortly.  Datha is surrounded by the love of her family and is recovering well.  As everyone knows medical treatment is costly and insurance doesn't cover the half of it.  Datha is barely getting by financially.

However, this is a beautiful woman is more concerned with her family. Wanting to take care of them. That is her nature and who she is.  Everyone who knows her, knows how she cares for and about those she serves, whether at work, at home, or just saying hi while passing by.  She takes care of anyone she can without a second thought.
